The variety. The security industry offers a wide range of demanding jobs that require not only physical strength and mental fitness, but also character and technical, organizational and communication skills. There is a broad variety of highly interesting fields of work in the sector: plant security services, mobile driving, monitoring and control jobs, working in the emergency call and service control center team, security tasks in public traffic areas and public transport, visitor reception, and technical services.
Since many jobs need to be done 24/7, the working hours in security services are different from those of a regular office job. A high degree of flexibility is also required. At Dussmann, however, you will be involved in the scheduling and can set your own working hours for your own optimal work-life balance.
Depending on the level of qualification and personal skills, security staff can take on more responsibility at Dussmann after a relatively short time. Realistic career levels are team leader, shift leader, and site manager. You can also quickly take on more responsibility in specialized areas such as the emergency call and service control center or the alarm service. We also offer you the opportunity to develop your skills at our training center, the Dussmann Campus, which offers a wide range of specialist training courses.
