This theory phase is then deepened and expanded with practical applications at our company. During your studies, you will rotate through various interesting and exciting company departments and gain a wide range of experience. You will also be optimally prepared for your professional future.
But that's not all: You will also receive a fixed salary during the theoretical study phases. And we will pay your semester fees so you don’t have to worry about it.

We cannot guarantee that – but our aim is to hire all apprentices and students after they have successfully completed their training.
Apprenticeships at Dussmann always start on September 1st.
Ideally as early as possible. Our apprenticeship positions are generally posted starting in October for the following year.
That depends entirely on the type of apprenticeship you want to apply for. The specific qualification you need is stated in each job posting.
But one thing is for certain: Grades are not everything. Impress us with a great application and your personality.
The duration of a recognized training occupation is specified in the training regulations. But in this case as well, it depends on the specialization. Apprenticeships usually last three or three and a half years. Extensions and shorter periods are possible under certain circumstances.
Yes, the training period can be shortened under certain circumstances. The prerequisite for this is the expectation that the training objective will be achieved in a shorter time. It must be ensured that the entire training content has been taught in the shorter time period.
