As a family business and international service provider, we want to be problem solvers for our clients and co-designers of living and working spaces. That's why acting responsibly and ethically has always been one of our fundamental principles.
Of course, that doesn't mean that we already do everything perfectly. We also want to become better. To this end, the Dussmann Group, as the parent company, has set clear goals and developed instruments to monitor and document the achievement of these goals. In this way, we too can measure ourselves against them and learn from them.

The sustainability policy developed by the Dussmann Group is binding on all business segments. It sets out our goals for continuous improvement and is systematically implemented through our integrated management system.
Silver EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
Dussmann Service Deutschland GmbH has received the Silver rating from prominent rating agency EcoVadis for its sustainability activities and thus confirms the expansion of Dussmann's commitment to sustainability.
The EcoVadis rating is based on 21 relevant sustainability criteria, which help to rank companies according to how well they incorporate and document sustainability aspects within their supply chains and the quality of those aspects. The criteria are grouped into four themes crucial to assessing a company’s sustainability performance: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Detailed company-specific documentation must be provided for each of these areas.

Our sustainability policy has method
We know: Sustainability policy is not a one-off measure, it is an ongoing process. To organize, control and monitor this process, we have made our sustainability policy part of our integrated management system. This maps and structures all the methods and instruments we develop in the areas of quality, health protection, occupational safety and environmental protection.
In doing so, we adhere closely to international environmental, energy and quality standards. Our integrated management system is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and, in part, ISO 50001. And, of course, we also like to be measured by the satisfaction of our employees, business contacts and clients.
