The international service provider Dussmann is investing in the industrial digitalization specialist neogramm. With a 25 percent share in the Mannheim-based company, Dussmann Technical Solutions division is further expanding its range of services in the field of automation. “By investing in neogramm, our portfolio in technical plant engineering now also includes software solutions for industrial digitalization”, says Dr. Tino Weber, Managing Director of Dussmann Technical Solutions.
At neogramm, more than 35 specialists develop software solutions in IIoT, automation technology and AI-supported image processing for industrial customers from the automotive, electronics manufacturing, wood and metal processing, pharmaceuticals and mechanical and plant engineering industries. “I am looking forward to the new sales connections via Dussmann Technical Solutions, the mutual transfer of knowledge and the reciprocal expansion of our services,” says Kai Blümchen, Managing Director of neogramm. “Dussmann’s investment enables neogramm to secure growth for its existing business while significantly advancing product development at the same time,” adds second neogramm Managing Director Stephan Könn.
Joint development of tailored IIoT system solutions
Dussmann Technical Solutions laid the foundation for the expansion of its automation business back in March of this year with the acquisition of “automatic Klein” and the establishment of the “Dussmann Industrial Automation” business unit, which focuses on process-related plant automation.
In the future, Dussmann Technical Solutions’ services will be complemented by the expertise of neogramm and will include even more solutions that create transparency, optimize processes and control complex systems at a higher level.
